Brixham Montessori Friends School Offers “Pequeños Amigos” Spanish Program for Young Children and Their Caregivers

Brixham Montessori Friends School will offer Pequeños Amigos, a fun and interactive Spanish-language program designed for young children and their parents or caregivers. Through songs, stories, movement, and playful activities, families will enjoy learning and practicing Spanish together.

The five-session program will meet Monday mornings from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. in the Brixham Montessori Friends School library. Classes will take place between September 14 and October 19. The cost is $155 and includes all five sessions as well as nine Spanish-language children’s books, valued at $30, for families to enjoy together at home.

Pequeños Amigos will be led by Danielle Costanza, who has taught Spanish for several years to students in Brixham’s Primary and Lower Elementary programs. Costanza is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and music education. She is a strong advocate for introducing children to additional languages at an early age and values the Montessori philosophy of learning.

Brixham Montessori Friends School is a dually accredited, nonprofit Montessori school in York serving children from 18 months through fourth grade. The school’s mission is to honor each child’s individuality, creativity, and intellectual potential through an enriched Montessori educational program.
