Brixham’s school gardens are now officially on the map—recognized as an official Monarch Waystation! Monarch butterflies and other pollinators can stop to rest and recharge among the vibrant blooms, and with a little luck, they might even lay their eggs on the milkweed. Adding to the beauty of the pollinator garden are hand-painted butterflies created by Primary teacher Dayna MacIntosh. These charming pieces invite children—and adults—to stroll the stone path and enjoy the wonder of nature up close.
